Team Scotland

Commonwealth Games Scotland has saved the Commonwealth Games. After Victoria pulled out of staging in 2026, Glasgow stepped up with a proposal for a slimmed down version, which may just keep the former Empire Games relevant ahead of it’s 100th year anniversary in 2030.

We worked with Team Scotland to confirm the dates, 11 sports and venues for the Games in July 2026, interviewing CGS chair Ian Reid, and Glasgow 2014 legends Eilidh Doyle and Hannah Miley. We shared the content with our commercial radio contacts across the UK, and also produced a special version of the podcast.
